Young would-be models are being sought to take part in a showcase event for Elgin.
Elgin Goes to the Movies is the second such event to promote Elgin city centre, featuring City Centre retailers from the Fashion, Hair, Music and Beauty sectors.
Brought to you once again by the Out of Darkness Theatre Company and Elgin BID, Elgin goes to the Movies promises to be every bit as entertaining as the initial showcase event: ‘Back to the Future – Elgin in Style’ which was a sell-out success.
Elgin Goes to the Movies will be featured round an ‘Oscar ceremony’ with over 17 retailers taking part, each with their own movie theme, portrayed by young dancers from Moray Dance and 2 professional actors. There will be a focus once again in this year’s event to use local people and this is where the organisers need help.
To add to each showcase they require ‘models’ to model the products on stage. This does not involve catwalk modelling but merely having a presence on stage as part of the showcase, therefore no experience in required just an enthusiasm for having a bit of fun while supporting your local City Centre. We are particularly require young people under the age of 12.
If you think you would like to take part on Friday 2nd March, 7.30 pm at Elgin Town Hall and would like to discuss further please get in contact with Jacqui Taylor, Elgin BID Manager on 01343 550652 or e mail Jacqui@elginbid.co.uk.
